I fell foul of this, as an operator [routeone/Gauntlet/6 June]; a gentleman in a car crashed into one of our stationary coaches.
He said he’d just pay for the damage, so I didn’t go and report it to the insurer, but a week later we had a claim for all sorts of damage and hire cars etc. and all about £12,500 last time I heard.
We’ve been trying to overturn it ever since, nightmare.
