PC Coaches used the 2025 Lincolnshire Show in mid-June to highlight the successful work done by operators and local authorities under the county’s Enhanced Partnership for bus services.
The Lincoln firm adorned one of its Scania double-deckers in a floral display designed by Royal Horticultural Society celebrity florist Jonathan Moseley, complemented by window branding showing that Lincolnshire’s buses are blooming.
The bus was displayed at the event and acted as what the operator says was a bright focal point for visitors, with many taking ‘selfies’ with the vehicle.
Speaking about the initiative, PC Coaches Managing Director Stephen Bryce says: “With the formation of the new Greater Lincolnshire and a new elected mayor, the Lincolnshire Show was a great opportunity to showcase the progress our Enhanced Partnership has achieved with year-on-year passenger growth, some of the highest levels of customer satisfaction in the country and continuous investment in infrastructure, not forgetting the important role that SMEs such as ourselves play in delivering passenger transport in a very rural county.”
In addition to PC Coaches, the bus also displayed the names of other operators that are part of the Enhanced Partnership for bus services in Lincolnshire such as Brylaine Travel, Centrebus, and Delaine Buses. Like the vehicle’s owner, they are members of ALBUM.
After the show concluded, the flowers that adorned the bus were donated to a local adult day centre operated by Lincolnshire County Council. There they will be dried and packaged as confetti and potpourri to be sold on to raise money for activities and trips.
