Marshalls’ two new Versas join a bus fleet that is dominated by Optare

Marshalls of Sutton-on-Trent has taken delivery of a pair of Versas, supplied by Optare (01977 687200).

The 11.7m buses have 44 seats along with Daimler engines and the Allison T270R gearbox. They are finished to a high specification and they have illuminated lower dash fleet names.

Says MD John Marshall: “We already operate a number of Versas and the striking design is popular with passengers and drivers.

“When we were looking for new additions with excellent fuel economy and the latest environmental credentials, the Versa was the obvious choice.”

Marshalls’ fleet also includes a Metrocity and six Solos. Adds Optare Business Development Manager Chris Hunt: “We are delighted that Marshalls, a longstanding customer, has opted for the Versa once again.”
