Lothian has announced that ‘Hamish’ is winning name of its Macmillan Cancer Support bus.

The bus was originally unveiled in September to mark the start of Lothian’s charity partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, but in January followers of Lothian’s social media pages were invited to give the vehicle a name.

Hundreds of suggestions were made including: Hamish, Hope, Millie Mac and the Tartan Traveller.

The bus is fully wrapped in Macmillan’s special Kinloch Anderson tartan and operates on various routes around the city.
