Anthony’s makes training clips

Anthony’s Travel has commissioned nine short witty video clips for use during driver training.

The Runcorn-based coach operator used its own coaches to make a series of ‘how not to do it’ clips, designed to spark debate and engage in discussion.

Says Managing Partner Richard Bamber: “Our aim is to make our staff aware that conduct is everything and the implications it can have on their vocational licence. While humorous there is an obvious message to each.

“I am always reminding our drivers that they are ‘on stage’ and their behaviour is under scrutiny.

All the public now have smartphones with video recording, so a little snippet can portray a company in a poor light.

“We have CCTV with sound recording in the cab, which protects drivers if they have an unruly passenger.”
