Two of the new coaches are B11R-based 9700s, and one a B8R-based SC5

Three new vehicles have joined the Tonypandy-based Brent Thomas Coaches fleet, all supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

Two are B11R-based 9700 integrals, while the third is a mid-sized B8R with Sunsundegui SC5 bodywork. All will be used on the operator’s UK and continental holiday programme.

Says Operations Manager Neil Grubham: “As ever, it was important to purchase the highest-quality coaches. We have a number of 9700s that we have been delighted with.

“They have deliver impressive fuel efficiency as well as a high specification and level of finish. It was an easy decision to make a repeat purchase as our tour work expands.”

The B8R SC5, which seats 38, has been bought for the flexibility that its 103.m length gives.
