RWT Services has opened its new showroom – opposite its existing Halesowen engineering workshops – to display the range of Higer and LDV vehicles it is selling in the UK.

It follows a ride-and-drive event at Rockingham (News, routeone, 20 June) at which the Super 9 coaches and LDV minibuses were previewed ahead of the showroom’s opening, and an exclusive routeone Test Drive of the Higer Super 9 (13 June).

The opening ceremony was performed by the Mayor of Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, after which the first Higer Super 9 to be delivered in the UK was handed over to Steve Tilley of Bude-based Tilley’s Coaches.

The coach will go on the road with the latest registration on 1 September.

RWT Services MD Bob Turnock told routeone: “I’m delighted to be opening the showroom. We already have three hi-spec 39/41-seater Super 9 coaches in stock, ready for delivery now, and will shortly be receiving stock of the standard-spec vehicles.”
