I am just reading the latest issue of routeone and two items on the Opinion pages prompted me to write to you: The Whisperer item about the Friends of King Arthur Buses event in Winchester, and Hugh Franklin's letter about coaches with manual transmission [routeone/Opinion/24 April].
We’d love for you to publicise the Redbeck Rally and Running Day in Wakefield on Sunday 30 June.
This special event is to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Dewsbury Bus Museum. It is being held at the Redbeck as there is much more space available for visiting vehicles.
Present on the day will be a Leyland Royal Tiger Doyen, a classic touring coach with manual transmission.
We will have a free vintage bus service to and from Wakefield city centre, transport and enthusiast collectors stalls, visiting coach and bus displays, and free feeder services from selected locations.
