Southampton operator Princess Coaches has continued a move towards an all-Euro 6 fleet by taking delivery of two vehicles from Scania Great Britain (01909 500822): A K 410 EB-based Irizar i6S, and a Touring built on the K 360 IB chassis.
The former is a 14m tri-axle with 59 half-leather seats, a rear toilet and a drinks machine. It has a wheelchair lift to the rear, which is particularly useful when carrying out cruise ship transfers, says MD Pete Brown.
The Touring is 12.1m long and it has 51 seats with a centre sunken toilet and servery.
Both coaches have extra-tinted glazing, Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels and USB charging points.
Maintenance will be handled locally by Scania’s Fareham dealership.
