Reading Buses driver Mark Austin has been awarded Star of the Month after receiving a nomination from a young passenger’s mother.
Says HR Director Caroline Anscombe: “The mum described Mark as ‘amazing’ following an incident when a car accidentally drove into the side of the bus he was driving. He made sure every child on the bus was safe.
“Mark dealt with the situation with outstanding professionalism by looking after the safety of young customers, reassuring them and making sure they were all okay.”
