Plymouth Citybus has launched a commemorative bus dedicated to Nancy Astor, the first female MP, who was elected 100 years ago.
The bus carried VIP guests, including former Prime Minister Theresa May, to the unveiling of a new Nancy Astor statue.
Lady Astor served the city as MP for Plymouth Sutton from 1919-1945, and passed away on 2 May 1964.
The bus will now travel across the Plymouth Citybus network as a reminder of her achievements and the role she played in the city’s history.
