National Express West Midlands (NXWM) is running a Christmas bus to raise funds for CLIC Sargent.
On Monday 23 December Santa Claus and his helpers will be riding a special one-stop route from Colmore Row around Birmingham city centre – and those on board can gift a small donation to the cancer charity for children and young people.
The bus will be decked out in Christmas decorations and staff will be handing out festive treats for younger riders during the 20-30 minute journeys.
The Christmas bus will leave Colmore Row every half hour from 1030hrs and the last trip starts at 1430hrs.
A limited number of tickets are available and can be ordered from NXWM website.
Staff at NXWM’s Birmingham Central depot in Digbeth chose CLIC Sargent as the depot’s charity partner earlier this year and have already raised over £660. They hope to make it to £1,000 as a special Christmas treat for the charity.
Elaine Griffin, Fundraising Engagement Manager at CLIC Sargent, says: “National Express West Midlands has been a phenomenal supporter of CLIC Sargent this year and is topping it off in incredible style with its special Christmas bus.”
