Bath Bus Company has taken delivery of a further two B5TLs with MCV EvoSeti bodywork, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

They are in a revised version of the Air Decker livery for its service to Bristol Airport. Between them, the two buses represent an investment of almost £500,000.

Among the specifications are secure racks for luggage storage, seating around tables on the upper deck and next stop and journey update announcements.

Over 414,000 customers used the Air Decker service in 2019. It has seen patronage increase by around 20% year on year since introduction in 2013.

Says Bath Bus Company MD Martin Curtis: “Passenger numbers have increased, with more customers opting to pre-book travel online. Internet ticket sales are up by 30% on 2018.”
