Scania (Great Britain) has appointed Karima Haji as Transformation Director.

She will be responsible for leading the development and transformation of the company in line with Scania’s vision to drive the shift to more sustainable transport solutions that are better for business, the environment and society.

Karima will take up the role on 1 September. She joins from Volvo Car Financial Services UK, where she holds the position of IT and Operations Director. Her work at Scania (Great Britain) will influence how it develops its dealer network, its property portfolios, its internal processes and other facets of the company’s activities over the coming years.

Says Karima Haji: “I am delighted to be joining Scania. It is a fantastic opportunity for me to be part of a successful and well-respected global brand that is truly focused on the future with sustainability at its heart.

“I am looking forward to leading this area of the business and working with my new team to help to drive the change that will support Scania (Great Britain)’s sustainable strategy over the coming years.”

Adds Managing Director James Armstrong: “Karima brings with her a wealth of technical as well as industry sector experience. In addition to her work at Volvo, Karima has implemented several pan-European solutions and business changes for major OEM and captive finance clients, including Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz.

“On behalf of the entire Scania UK team, I am delighted to welcome Karima into the Scania family and I wish her every success in this new and exciting role.”
