Acharacle operator Shiel Buses has added a Volvo B8R with 10.8m Panther Cub bodywork, supplied by Plaxton.
It has a heads-up driver’s display, a level 2 safety system and alloy wheels. Passengers benefit from seats with armrests, fixed footrests, magazine nets, drop-down tables, USB sockets and what Plaxton calls “automatic de-recline.”
Also fitted is a rear servery with a fridge, an audio system with Bluetooth and DVD, cordless microphones and a 360-degree CCTV system.
Says Shiel Buses Managing Director David MacGillivray of the new Plaxton: “We are very happy with our new coach and all its additional features.
“It will be very useful for our extensive private hire and tour schedule, plus its manoeuvrability in reaching locations throughout the Highlands, while providing extra comfort.”
