Reading Buses had added a further Alexander Dennis Enviro200 pair to its Thames Valley Buses subsidiary. The 11.8m buses have been purchased using finance provided by Dawsongroup Bus and Coach and come with ADL’s SmartSeat and USB charging points.

The two newcomers follow an identical Enviro200 delivered to Thames Valley Buses as part of the parent company’s loyalty towards Alexander Dennis products. At around the same time, two Plaxton Leopard-bodied Volvo B8R coaches were also delivered to sister subsidiary Newbury and District.

Says Reading Buses Chief Executive Robert Williams: “We are delighted to take delivery of these two new buses – taking to three the number of Enviro200s that we have added to our fleet in the last few months to upgrade our high-profile route 194 between Bracknell and Camberley.

“All are equipped with modern features that will be of great benefit to our customers.”

Adds Alexander Dennis Sales Account Manager Mark Taylor: “It is always a pleasure working with the team at Reading Buses, and I know that these high-quality buses will serve the business and its customers very well.”
