Coach and bus insurance specialist Gauntlet Group has announced exclusive offers as part of its membership with coach hire price comparison website Coach Hire Comparison.
As part of its partnership arrangement, Gauntlet is offering what it calls a ‘Call Paul’ service. It allows Coach Hire Comparison members to contact insurance expert Paul Hawley with any queries relating to insurance covers for free advice and a ‘no-nonsense situation review’.
In addition, Coach Hire Comparison customers can enjoy a 10% discount on specially arranged coach and bus breakdown cover, offered by Gauntlet through the RAC.Â
Gauntlet says the partnership is the next step in its campaign to help coach operators back to full recovery. It follows its Back on the Road: The Coach Operator’s Renaissance Guide to Insurance and Driving in 2021 booklet, published in 2021, which presented advice on how to return vehicles to the road post-lockdown.
It hopes that by working with Coach Hire Comparison it will encourage operators to capitalise on the maximum earning potential of a coach or minibus’s hours spent on the road, and reducing excess capacity. Coach Hire Comparison is free to join, but can see operators boost earning potential.
