Stagecoach makes new appointment

Stagecoach South West has appointed Paul Clark as Operations Director to join its senior management team on 2 May.

Paul is currently General Manager at Stagecoach in Hull.

The appointment comes after the operator has undergone several years of network growth including a greatly enhanced network in North Devon, the purchase of assets from First in Plymouth and the launch of the South West Falcon inter-regional coach service.

Paul has two decades of experience across the bus industry, and in his current role, means has responsibility for 300 staff and129 vehicles. He has overseen the re-launch of the Hull network under the “Simplibus” brand and implemented significant improvements in service delivery.

Says Paul: “I am delighted to be taking up this position. I look forward to working with the team to help deliver further improvements to our South West business."
