Two new 9700s will be joined by three Jonckheere JHV2s later this year

London operator New Bharat Coaches has taken delivery of two more B11R-based 9700 integrals, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

They follow two identical coaches delivered last year and will be joined by three Jonckheere JHV2-based B11Rs in April. That’s an indication of the operator’s regard for Volvo products, says Director Taj Dhaliwal.

“We needed additional, quality coaches that would be reliable and offer excellent fuel economy, both of which are important considerations for any operator in today’s environment.

“We have had such great success with Volvo and these new coaches take our tally to 12 new Volvos in the past two years. Overall, 16 of the 21 vehicles in our fleet are built on Volvo chassis.”
