Vehicle safety specialist Parksafe Group has entered a fleet technology partnership with Queclink Wireless Solutions. It will deliver what Parksafe says are “industry leading telematics and connectivity systems.”

Under the hardware agreement, Queclink will become a primary supplier of Internet of Things-based products and solutions to Parksafe across a range of dash cameras, tracking devices, and wi-fi routers.

Parksafe Sales and Marketing Director Liam Barber says that Queclink was chosen after it proved a “commitment to innovation and quality, so we can bring together software, hardware and support to deliver fleet technology excellence.”

Adds Mr Barber: “Queclink’s devices will be integrated with our On Demand web portal, so our customers can take advantage of a seamless fleet tracking and video telematics solution tailored to their precise requirements.”

Among the first products to be integrated with Parksafe On Demand will be the recently-launched CV200 dashcam. That 4G device gives fleet and video telematics functionality in a single unit, combining AI features with the ability to add a choice of secondary cameras and integrate with the vehicle’s CAN bus system.

Parksafe will also become one of Queclink’s largest UK partners for wi-fi routers, which Parksafe says is driven by strong demand from coach and bus operators. 4G and 5G routers particularly suit those applications, it adds.

Mr Barber notes that Parksafe is working with Queclink to develop other bespoke telematics and connectivity solutions that major on vehicle safety and an extensive product range.

“The local support provided by Queclink’s UK-based team has been particularly useful, providing a huge advantage in terms of communication, product development, and responsiveness,” he continues.

Speaking about the agreement, Queclink UK Sales Director Vernon Bonser says: “We are the hardware partner of choice for a growing number of service providers within the telematics and fleet technology marketplace.

“By combining first-class products and solutions that are powerful, reliable and affordable with unrivalled technical and operational support, we are now a hugely attractive alternative for industry specialists such as Parksafe Group.”
