Woburn Abbey and Gardens is proud to offer an extra personal touch to its group visits.
Groups Co-ordinator Lisa Weaver, winner of Tourism Professional of the Year in the British Coach Tourism Awards 2017, famously waves away coaches as they depart, a ritual now known as the ‘Weaver Woburn Wave-away’.
In June Lisa was delighted to give the Beenham Friendship Club from Berkshire a Weaver Woburn Wave-away on a Weavaway coach, one wildly warm Wednesday.
She says: “The group and the driver thought it was really funny, and were pleased to have their wave-away picture taken.”
