The UK premiere of Alfred Hitchcock’s comedy of suspense North by Northwest will run at Theatre Royal Bath until 12 August, with opening night for press on Monday 31 July.
Following its world premiere in Melbourne, the new stage adaptation of Hitchcock’s film has been adapted by Carolyn Burns and directed by Simon Phillips.
Jonathan Watton stars as Roger O. Thornhill, the role Cary Grant played in the 1959 film. Roger O. Thornhill is a suave and successful advertising executive, abducted by thugs who insist he is a man called George Kaplan.
