Two XMQ6129Ys take to 12 the number of King Longs in Hunters’ fleet

Hunters Coaches of Leeds has stuck with King Long Europe UK (0121 784 3335) and taken delivery of the 11th and 12th examples of the marque in the form of two XMQ6129Ys.

The 12.2m coaches have Cummins ISL engines coupled to ZF EcoLife automatic gearboxes and the operator says that they “are in a different class” to the XMQ6127Ys that it purchased previously.

In particular, Hunters says that the automatic transmission means that drivers can be swapped as needed and with no difficulty.

The engine’s strong torque delivery is another positive, it adds, as is the additional luggage space.

Also coming in for acclaim is the XMQ6129Y’s luxury interior. Hunters will be sticking with the model from now on, it says.
