Alexander Dennis Enviro200 pair for Grant Palmer

Grant Palmer has introduced a revised livery application on a pair of Alexander Dennis Enviro200 small buses that were delivered recently.

They are 8.9m examples that represent a spend of over £450,000 by the Bedfordshire operator. High-backed seats with belts are fitted, along with USB charging points.

Arrival of the buses takes to 19 the number of new vehicle additions purchased in the past 10 years, with half of the Grant Palmer fleet having been replaced in that time. That gives the business a lower average fleet age than any other bus operator in Bedfordshire, it says.

The familiar red base is retained on the new buses but how the livery is applied has been changed. The overhaul gives what the operator says is a modern and dynamic look while maintaining a strong brand identity. It will be rolled out on other new vehicles and the wider fleet in due course, a spokesperson advises.

Speaking about the latest Enviro200 arrivals, Managing Director Grant Palmer says: “These new Alexander Dennis buses continue our commitment to investing in Bedfordshire and serving our customers with high-quality, modern vehicles.

“We are especially pleased to support British engineering with this investment.”
