In a £2.5m investment, Stagecoach has put 12 ADL Enviro400s into service on its ‘Wave’ route 99 along the East Sussex coast.
With wi-fi, USB port and contactless payments, they are intended to build on the 1.3m passengers carried in 2017 on the route.
They come with high-back faux-leather seats and a refreshed ‘Wave’ livery with a montage inspired by the seaside route that runs every 20 minutes (Sundays, hourly) serving Silverhill, Hastings, St Leonards, Bexhill and Eastbourne.
