Uno celebrates revamped fleet

Bus operator Uno, owned by the University of Hertfordshire, has launched four revamped and modernised buses.

The Scania double-deckers, part of Uno’s fleet since new, have been mechanically refurbished and had a major makeover with new comfy seating USB ports and wi-fi fitted.

Now branded The Alban Way, they work route 601, connecting Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, The University of Hertfordshire, The Business Park deHavilland, Oaklands and Borehamwood.

Jim Thorpe, Managing Director for Uno Buses, said: “We’re delighted to be launching a new modernised, refreshed fleet of buses.

“At Uno we understand the importance of creating a product that will provide the very best customer experience. It’s so important for our passengers to be able to stay connected on their travels, and we’re investing in technologies to make this happen.”
