Coach Hire Comparison (CHC) has secured the Business Improvement through Technology accolade at the Chamber Business Awards. The award recognises businesses that have effectively integrated technology to enhance performance and efficiency.
Since its founding in 2010, CHC has developed a user-friendly platform that connects users with over 300 independent coach and minibus companies, facilitating easy access to transport quotes. The platform attracts over 12,000 monthly visitors.
The award arrives on the heels of impressive recent growth, marked by an aggressive marketing campaign, new website features, and a doubling of revenue from £2.7 million in 2021/22 to £5.1 million in 2022/23.
CHC was acquired by CMAC Group in July 2023, with the goal of integrating CHC into CMAC’s wider operations to foster accelerated growth and support international expansion efforts. That partnership will be pivotal in CHC’s ambition to achieve a turnover of £30m in the next 3-5 years.
CHC’s roadmap for the coming years includes increasing supply chain capacity, improving conversion rates, developing specialised customer propositions, and launching a “buy it now” feature.
