Cloud-based coach management platform Ferdia has named Daniel Morton (pictured, right) as its first UK Country Manager.
Daniel brings experience from senior roles at National Express, Lucketts Group and Zeelo, and is tasked with building out Ferdia’s UK presence and driving adoption of its digital platform.
The move signals the company’s “growing commitment” to the UK coach sector and follows a period of expansion through partnerships that include Marshalls of Sutton-on-Trent, Country Lion, and Centurion Travel.
“Put simply, I see great potential in the range of products Ferdia offers to help modernise the UK market,” says Daniel. “The team is strongly committed to helping to provide modernisation for coach operators and their clients, and I wanted to be part of this forward-thinking organisation
“The UK market knows it needs to modernise, and I’m excited about the potential Ferdia brings to that journey. We help partners turn rising costs into margin improvements; at-risk clients into loyal partners; and idle vehicles into high utilisation.”
Priorities for Daniel over the coming months will be to strengthen ties with current UK partners, expand Ferdia’s network, and raise its brand profile.
“Partnerships are built on trust. That starts with taking time to deeply understand a business’s processes, culture, and people — and showing how Ferdia can reduce pain and unlock potential,” he adds.
