Ridleys Coaches of Warwick has confirmed an order for two Scania Tourings.
The 13.3m-long coaches, based on the new-generation KNI 410 chassis, are due to be delivered in September 2025, says Scania.
Features will include 53 reclining half-leather trimmed seats with three-point seatbelts, centre sunken toilet, drinks machine with integrated fridge, extra-dark tinted glass, wood-effect flooring, USB chargers at all passenger seats and Durabright alloy wheels.
Ridleys Coaches Managing Director Jordan Ridley explains the vehicle caught his eye at the Euro Bus Expo at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre in November. He says: “We were very impressed with the vehicle that was on the stand at the NEC and think the product has made considerable improvements since we last viewed the product in 2018.
Lee Wale, Scania GB Limited Retail Sales Manager, adds: “We are extremely happy that Ridley’s Coaches will be joining the Scania family. These will be their first new Scania coaches. As the coaches come with an included two years repair and maintenance contract, it means their workshop staff don’t have to worry about bringing a new brand into the fleet.”
