Enviro400 MMCs will mainly operate routes 2 and 3 on the Isle of Wight

Isle of Wight operator Southern Vectis, part of the Go-Ahead group, has added 16 Enviro400 MMCs to its fleet, supplied by Alexander Dennis (01909 551166).

They represent an investment of £3.7m and will primarily be used on routes 2 and 3. They have USB charging points throughout.

“Customers have been very clear about the enhancements that they wanted to see on these popular services and we have listened to them,” says General Manager Richard Tyldsley.

“We’re looking forward to seeing them out and about, transporting residents of and visitors to the Isle of Wight.”
