Anderson Travel has taken delivery of four MOBIpeople Explorer-bodied Scania K 360s. All are PSVAR compliant 53-seaters.
They take to seven the number of vehicles that BASE Coach Sales has supplied to the London operator in three years, and they are the first MOBIpeople coaches delivered as part of that business relationship.
“I really like the product range, and BASE’s professionalism and aftersales service is impressive,” says Anderson Travel Managing Director Mark Anderson. “The people there are coach operators themselves. They know what we go through on a daily basis and they are always willing to help. We are in good hands.”
Delivery of the four MOBIpeople Explorers to Anderson Travel takes BASE close to 40 registrations for the year. Aftermarket and Regional Sales Manager Mick Boniface adds that such an achievement in a challenging year for the coach industry “is a reflection on the price and specifications that we can achieve with PSVAR compliant vehicles in partnership with MOBIpeople.”
Mr Boniface continues that the four coaches’ flexibility – with accessibility, 53 seats and a toilet and a high specification – will prove to be a boon in operation.
Besides the Explorer, BASE also offers both the super-high Premium and the smaller, front-engined Midi Explorer to PSVAR compliant specification.
