AOS Grand Toro for Johnson Transport
SHARE

Johnson Transport of Brae on the Shetland Islands is another Scottish customer for the AOS Grand Toro. It has taken delivery of a 35-seater, supplied by EVM.

Three-point belts and synthetic leather upholstery are standard at all positions on the Grand Toro, which is carving a niche in the compact midicoach segment.

It is 8.5m long and 2.4m wide and comes with a Cummins ISB4.5 engine developing 206bhp mounted behind the front axle. That power unit drives through a six-speed Allison automatic gearbox using the manufacturer’s xFE technology to maximise fuel efficiency. GVW is 11,480kg.

Also standard as part of the Grand Toro specification are USB charging points, drop-down tables, magazine nets and 4.6 cubic metres of underfloor luggage capacity. An option for PSVAR compliance is in hand.

Johnson Transport’s decision to purchase the Grand Toro from EVM follows previous deliveries of the Irish manufacturer and dealership’s minicoach range. A cherished registration mark completes the latest vehicle’s appearance.
