Bolton operator Atlantic Travel is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the delivery of two new K 360 IB coaches supplied by Scania Great Britain (01909 500822): A tri-axle with Irizar i4 bodywork and a two-axle model with an i6 body.
Says Director Yasser Dean: “We were looking to upgrade our fleet and add more Euro 6 coaches. We wanted something new and something amazing. We decided to purchase not one but two Scania Irizars.
“After Scania supplied us with an i6 demonstrator, the feedback we received from drivers and passengers was amazing. The ‘wow factor’ and kerb appeal were phenomenal.”
The i4 has 80 seats, and that capacity means that “it does not stop.” The i6 carries 53 passengers.
