Beestons’ two new i6 integrals are 10.8m and 12.9m long respectively

Beestons of Hadleigh, Suffolk, has added two new i6 integrals, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).

One is a 10.8m 41-seater, the other a 12.9m model with 57 seats. The smaller coach has a rear floor-level toilet; its big brother has a centre sunken arrangement.

Both have i6 seats with tables and three-point belts. Other common passenger amenities include an Actia video and a Bosch audio system along with a drinks machine.

Drivelines are identical, with DAF’s MX-11 engine coupled to ZF’s AS-Tronic gearbox.

Says Operations Director Tom Munson: “This is our first experience of the Irizar product, but we have a lot of faith in the DAF driveline. We’ve run other DAF-engined coaches and found them to be problem-free and good on fuel.”
