Kilkenny operator Bernard Kavanagh and Sons has taken delivery of three new coaches, all supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).
Two are B11R-based 9700 integrals, and the third is a mid-sized B8R with Sunsundegui SC5 bodywork.
Says Co-owner Bernard Kavanagh: “We purchased five 9700s earlier this year and we have found the operational performance and reliability of the B11R chassis to be excellent.
“The smaller B8R with the SC5 body also provides excellent fuel efficiency with versatile operation and a stylish appearance. It is easier to navigate on narrower roads.”
