Bessway Travel of Wembley has completed a fleet upgrade programme that has seen the delivery of three Volvo B8Rs with Plaxton Leopard bodywork over the past year.
All have been supplied by Alexander Dennis and they are built to different specifications of 59 or 72 seats. That gives the operator a versatile trio that suit various applications, but common across the coaches is PSVAR compliance.
Delivery of the Leopards follows earlier purchases of the same combination by Bessway Travel. Speaking about the latest coaches, Managing Director Simon Payne has described them as “great assets that give us the ability to comfortably accommodate larger groups.”
Adds Mr Payne: “Our ability to take on a variety of work and deliver the highest standards of quality for our customers is key to our success.”
The three Leopards were formally handed over by Alexander Dennis Regional Sales Manager Mark Taylor. “It has been an honour to work with Simon and his team on this investment, and to hand over the keys to Bessway’s new flagship coaches,” he observes.
