Borough of Poole Council is aiming to deliver transport that focuses on the health and wellbeing of its residents and visitors and also reduces the carbon footprint.
As part of its strategy, Mellor has delivered six Orion Plus accessible vehicles that provide essential transport for all, regardless of mobility.
The ultra-flat floor Orion Plus is fuel efficient and robust.
Based on the Fiat Ducato Maxi this Orion Plus can seat up to 16 passengers or up to five wheelchairs.
It includes a rapid-side sliding electric door with locking, front ramp microswitch and buzzer, 2.5m long fold out ramp to rear, Eberspächer 4kW diesel air-climate system and cantrail tracking.
