Three more E200s have joined the Compass Travel fleet in East Sussex

Compass Travel, based in Worthing, has added three more Enviro200s to its fleet, supplied by Alexander Dennis (01909 551166).

They are 8.9m, 29-seat examples and they join 12 other Enviro200s delivered to the operator over the past year.

Almost half of Compass Travel’s 70-strong fleet is now made up of Alexander Dennis single-deckers.

“ADL buses form the backbone of our operation,” says Engineering Director Malcolm Gallichan. “We have many demanding routes that cover both high-density work and rural locations, and the Enviro200, along with other ADL saloons, provides the ideal solution.”

The new buses are powered by Cummins ISB4.5 engines coupled to Allison gearboxes and the fuel efficiency of that driveline is one of the Enviro200’s plus points, along with passenger appeal.
