Connexions Buses receives a low-carbon Solo

Connexions Buses’ new Solo is a Euro 6, 9.2m model that seats up to 31

Connexions Buses, of Tockwith, has supported fellow Yorkshire company Optare (01977 687200) by taking delivery of a 31-seat, 9.2m Solo.

It is powered by a Euro 6 Daimler OM 934 engine coupled to an Allison 2100 gearbox, and it has been certified as a low carbon emission bus.

“We have run Solos since we started business in 2002 and we find them to be particularly well-suited to residential urban areas,” says MD Craig Temple.

“Additionally, the Solo is very cost-effective to operate, so another was an obvious choice for us.”
