Dartline Coaches of Clyst St Mary has taken delivery of two Irizar i6S Efficient integrals, supplied by Irizar UK.
They are 12.9m models and represent a significant investment in coaching capacity by the Go-Ahead Group subsidiary. Each is a 53-seater. Full leather trim has been specified along with three-point belts, drop-down tables, magazine nets, and USB charging points.
Wood-effect flooring is another part of the package, while a centre sunken toilet is topped by a drinks machine. The coaches additionally have a Bosch Smart Series audio-visual entertainment system with twin monitors.
PSVAR readiness is built in to permit straightforward later conversion for full compliance. The existing package includes Hanover displays at the front, side and rear.
Power comes from the DAF MX-11 engine coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. Arrival of the coaches with Dartline “exemplifies Irizar’s close collaboration with major operators to supply vehicles that meet exacting specifications and deliver long-term value and comfort,” Irizar UK says.
