One of the two additions for Docherty’s is a B11R-based 9700 integral

Auchterarder-based Docherty’s Midland Coaches has taken a B11R-based 9700 integral, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250) and accompanied by a Jonckheere-bodied B11R.

They join a fleet that is 80% Volvo and both will be used predominantly on private hire, corporate and UK touring work.

Director Colin Docherty says: “We needed additional coaches, and the 9700 that we have purchased is actually the vehicle that was at Euro Bus Expo last year.

“In particular, the 9700 is a stylish and aesthetically-pleasing coach and we know that the B11R chassis gives excellent fuel consumption.”
