Long-standing customer Doig’s of Glasgow has returned to Irizar UK (01909 500514) for a pair of 12.9m i6 integrals.
This time the operator has selected 57 leather-covered i6 Plus seats, and the repeat purchase comes following positive passenger feedback on the i6 integral, says Director Iain Forsyth.
“We’re very pleased, and our customers love them. We’re really happy with the DAF/irizar combination, which suits a broad range of work, especially with 57 seats on two axles. Since the start, we have had no issues at all with these coaches.”
A twin-screen DVD system is fitted, along with a reversing camera. Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp coupled to the ZF AS-Tronic gearbox.
