Expressway Coaches’ latest Volvo – a B11R JHV2 – is in its colourful livery

Expressway Coaches of Rotherham has returned to Volvo Bus/02476 210250 for a B11R with 53-seat Jonckheere JHV2 bodywork.

“This is the third year in a row that we have gone back to Volvo and our experience with its coaches has been excellent,” says MD Peter Regan.

“When searching for a new addition, the B11R JHV2 was a clear choice; it offered the space that we were looking for as well as the onboard toilet that we require for our touring work.”

Peter adds that a Sunsundegui SC5-bodied Volvo B8R midicoach delivered in 2017 has performed well and the Expressway fleet also contains a B11R 9700 integral.

The new coach is 12.6m long and it has a 430bhp D11K engine.
