The 9.2m Solo seats 31 and is a Euro 5 model; it will work a town service

Group Travel of Bodmin, Cornwall, has taken delivery of a 31-seat Solo, supplied by Optare (01977 687200).

The 9.2m bus is fitted with a Euro 5 Daimler engine and Allison gearbox and it will be used on a town service in Launceston.

Says Director Dawn Moon: “The vehicle was purchased to replace an earlier model.

“Our experience of the Solo has shown it to be flexible with the ability to operate easily in urban areas and more remote rural locations, as well as being fuel efficient and loved by drivers and passengers.”
