Ferndown, Dorset-based Heathside Travel has purchased its third and largest coach in the form of an i6 integral, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).

It is a 13.2m 55-seater with a DAF MX-11 engine coupled to a ZF AS-Tronic automated gearbox. Upholstery is i-leather and all passengers benefit from USB charging points, drop-down tables and three-point belts.

“When we started with smaller vehicles, it was always my intention to move up to Irizar,” says Director Tim Southby.

“I had experienced the product when driving coaches for other companies. More recently, the feedback I have had from other operators running Irizar integrals has been excellent.

“Reliability and service are everything to me, and the driveline is a big plus as the local DAF dealer is three minutes away.”
