Henry Cooper Coaches has continued the upgrade of its front-line coach fleet to Euro VI, PSVAR compliant standard with the delivery of two new Volvo-based vehicles.
Both are completed in the Annitsford operator’s distinctive livery. One is a 9700 (pictured, top) that is built on B13R running units and which seats 53. It also has a centre sunken toilet, a drinks machine, an entertainment system with twin monitors, USB charging points, and a reversing camera.
Accessibility on the 9700 comes via a lift immediately behind the front axle, with silver LED destination displays also forming part of the package.
The other addition is a B8R-based Plaxton Leopard. It has 59 seats and complies with PSVAR. Like the 9700, the Leopard also has a front-mounted lift and silver LED destination displays.
Both coaches are equipped with the Volvo I-Shift automated manual gearbox and carry cherished registration marks.
