The three MCV Evoras for JJ Kavanagh are the first in Ireland or the UK

Irish operator JJ Kavanagh has placed three B8RLEs with MCV Evora bodywork into service, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

They are working on a new contract issued by the Irish National Transport Authority that runs from Naas to Blanchardstown in Dublin, and they will work 18 hours per day, 364 days a year.

That mandated a vehicles robust enough to handle such a demanding workload. “Particularly attractive to us is the new Evora bodywork, which has recently been launched,” says Director JJ Kavanagh.

“Among its many excellent aspects and benefits are its wheelchair accessibility and three-point seatbelts, both of which are important for the safety and convenience of our passengers.”

Irish Commercials will provide servicing for the buses, which seat 46.
