First 5.5t GVW Paramount conversion from Coachtraders delivered

Shetland Islands operator Johnson Transport, based in Brae, has taken delivery of the first 5.5t GVW Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 516CDi with a Paramount conversion to be supplied by Coachtraders (01501 744000).

The minicoach has Paramount’s panoramic Widescreen double-glazed side windows and it is dual certified for 16 or 22 passenger seats thanks to a removable rear bulkhead that provides a large boot when the lower capacity is in use.

Also part of the vehicle’s specification is a powered entrance door, mood lighting, Audio 15 sound system and reversing camera, body kit and side mouldings, and colour-coded bumpers.

Johnsons’ is one of a number recently supplied to Shetland operators by Coachtraders. All were delivered via NorthLink ferry from Aberdeen.
