Maybury’s Coaches, of Dunmanway, Co Cork, has placed a Sunsundegui SC5-bodied B8R midicoach into service, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

The 10.3m coach marks the operator’s return to Volvo for the first time in 10 years, says Owner and Director Martin Maybury.

“We were impressed with the quality and styling following a factory visit to Sweden in 2016, and the size and specification of the coach meets the needs of our business right now.

“The B8R SC5 has proved reliable, with a strong kerb appeal and a slightly shorter than normal wheelbase, which makes it easy to navigate on Irish country roads.”

Seating a maximum of 41, the B8R SC5 is powered by a 350bhp D8K engine.
