The two new Tourings join an earlier example with New Adventure Travel

Two more Tourings have joined the Cardiff-based New Adventure Travel fleet, supplied by Scania Great Britain (01909 500822).

The latest additions are two-axle, 12.2m models that seat 49. They each have a Frenzel servery and USB charging points at all seats, and the driver and courier seats are finished in leather.

Power is from Scania’s 9.3-litre DC09 engine rated at 360bhp driving through the eight-speed automated manual Opticruise gearbox.

New Adventure Travel’s relationship with local Scania dealership Keltruck continues with the new Tourings, and they have been supplied with a two-year repair and maintenance package.

The operator was an early buyer of the Touring, taking the UK’s first tri-axle version soon after the model was introduced here in 2015.
